Opportunity for an experienced accountant (ICAS/ ACCA/ ICAEW) or QBE with a solid background in practice to join our team, based in Edinburgh.
In this role you will support our SME clients by preparing accounts, tax computations and other financial information to a high standard, working alongside colleagues and reporting to the directors. This is a role suitable for an experienced accountant with a background in practice who has the capability and confidence to deal with relatively complex financial reporting matters and routine corporation tax compliance - familiarity with reporting under FRS102 is a must.
Suitable for a motivated, conscientious and personable accounting professional with solid experience of preparing accounts for small businesses. Experience of more complex tax compliance work would be an advantage but training on tax matters can be provided.
The role offers the opportunity to help shape the growth of our practice locally, including supporting one or more junior colleagues with their career progression and also assisting with some business development initiatives locally in the city.
