It’s my pleasure to announce that we have had three new team members join the firm in the last few months.
Two of these join us as students at our Aberdeen office whilst the third is training in Kirkwall.

Having studied Accounting with Business Analytics at Robert Gordon University (RGU), Adam completed a one-year placement as a Finance Assistant before graduating and joining the firm this year.
He is currently working towards his Chartered Accountant qualification with ICAS.
As a Graduate Accountant, his primary responsibilities include assisting the team with the preparation of financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, while continuing his professional studies towards achieving his ICAS qualification.
Alens is working as an accounts and bookkeeping assistant at our Kirkwall office. He studied HNC Business at Orkney College, where he discovered his interest in accounting.
In his role, he assists with the preparation of VAT returns and providing general administrative support to the team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of client work and internal processes.
As a trainee at Scholes CA, David supports a variety of client assignments, with a particular focus on the preparation of financial accounts for sole traders and partnerships, as well as assisting with audit engagements.
David graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2023. Following his graduation, he gained valuable experience as a Corporate Tax Assistant within a Big Four firm before joining Scholes CA in 2026.
He is currently working towards qualification as a Chartered Accountant with ICAS.
