Accounting Excellence Awards recognise high achieving firms across the UK.
Scholes CA has once again been shortlisted in the 2021 edition of the Accounting Excellence Awards, this time in the Medium Firm of the Year category.
The Awards recognise the important contribution that accountants make to society, businesses and individuals all over the UK, perhaps more so than at any time in recent memory given the wide-ranging social and economic impacts of the pandemic.
Commenting on the firm's nomination, Director Ivan Houston said "Our loyal and very talented employees have really stepped up over the past eighteen months to help our clients through the pandemic, they have been brilliant.
"We are humbled by the remarkable stoicism, courage and tenacity with which our clients have battled through the last, very difficult year. It is a real privilege to be able to contribute to their success, to help them through challenging times where we can. We are helping them look forward with confidence to the future.
"It's great to be shortlisted for a national Accounting Excellence award for the second year running. The Medium Firm of the Year category recognises established accountancy firms who have the capacity and expertise to provide a broader range of tax, accountancy and advice services to clients, including those with more significant or complex requirements."
