About me - I joined Scholes CA in November 2018 having previously worked with an Edinburgh based CA firm for the last 11 years where I managed a large portfolio of limited company clients. I have extensive experience helping small and medium sized companies to comply with their statutory accounting and tax obligations, providing an all round service of accounts preparation, corporation tax and any associated advice and planning. I am a Xero and QuickBooks Certified Advisor which allows me to offer support and guidance on software.
What I do - As a Manager in the accounts department, I am responsible for helping our clients comply with their statutory accounting and tax obligations, and for providing them with practical advice and guidance to better manage their businesses. I also provide advice and guidance on how to get the most from cloud accounting systems such as Quickbooks.
More about me - living rural, I enjoy all outdoor pursuits when the weather allows. I travel as much as I can, with my current favourite destination being the South of France. I am involved with my local amateur dramatics group and can also be spotted as a TV/ film extra in my spare time!
