Assistant Manager
About me - I graduated from Robert Gordon’s University in June 2020 with a BA Hons Degree in Accounting and Finance. After graduating I carried out my professional exams with ICAS whilst working at RSM. I became a qualified member of ICAS in August 2024. In September 2025, the RSM Lerwick team transferred to join Scholes Chartered Accountants.
What I do at Scholes - At Scholes I predominately work in the audit department as an Assistant Manager, carrying out statutory audits for both companies and charities. As part of my role, I am responsible for coaching junior members of the team, auditing significant risk areas, maintaining client relationships and leading a team whilst onsite. I have assisted with corporation tax in the past.
More about me - Outside of work I enjoy being active and keeping fit. I do this through netball, the gym, running, walking my dog and riding my horses. I own 4 horses which I share with my mum and have a dog named Bonnie. I enjoy cooking and trying out different cuisines, which I love to share with my friends and family.
