About me – I joined Scholes in 2011, following completion of my degree in Business Management with Marketing. Since then, I have completed professional qualifications with, and became a member of, both the Association of Accounting Technicians and Association of Taxation Technicians.
What I do at Scholes – I manage the preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships, seafarers, and trusts, and Capital Gains Tax Returns, as well as assisting clients with a range of personal taxation queries and personal tax planning. I also prepare annual P11Ds and PAYE Settlement Agreements for employer clients who provide taxable benefits to employees, as well as employer share scheme returns. My qualifications enable me to be flexible, occasionally assisting in the preparation of VAT Returns, and sole trader, partnership, company, and charity accounts.
More about me – Outside of work, I use my creative skills in a volunteer capacity to produce a monthly community newsletter, and to develop community websites. I play the piano, I enjoy cycling, and I love British history.
