Administrator
About me – I am the administrator based in the Lerwick office. In March 2025 I moved from Glasgow to Shetland for a fresh start taking on the administrative role with RSM Lerwick before our transfer to Scholes CA. I have a HNC in professional writing from City of Glasgow College and an BA with Honours in English Literary Studies which I received from the University of Stirling. I based my dissertation on the development of Vampire literature from 1870s-onwards.
What I do at Scholes – Alongside providing administrative support for the office I am responsible for carrying out reception duties, usually being the first point of contact for our clients.
More about me – I am an avid reader enjoying genres such as magical realism, crime noir, and gothic literature; my favourite book is 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Márquez. My music taste is quite diverse as I love everything from film scores to K-pop, my favourite artists being Hans Zimmer and Taeyeon, respectively. I love nature, luckily there is plenty of it to experience here in Shetland!
