Senior Manager
About me - Following school, I spent 5 years at Heriot Watt University studying towards a Mechanical Engineering Degree. After obtaining my Masters of Engineering I returned home, working with local companies. I joined Scholes CA in 2017, and began studying towards my ACCA qualifications.
What I do at Scholes - As part of the accounts team at Scholes, the majority of my time is spent preparing the accounts of clients, including companies, sole traders and partnerships. In addition to this, I am studying towards becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant.
More about me - I am a member of the Orkney Motor Club, competing in the summer Autotest Championship and taking on the role of club press officer. During the winter months I spend time playing squash at the Kirkwall Squash Club, competing in the leagues and competitions.
